Description of Work:Stabilisation & rehabilitation of the Kemira Colliery mine portal including
  • Construction of 150m long stepped gabion basket
  • Removal of 100000m3 of contaminated spoil
  • Slope stabilisation and sub-soil drainage
  • Sealing of mine portal structure
  • and boulder retention basin.
Contract Value:$3.4 Million
