| Description of Work: |
- Project to rehabilitate old mine workings at Corrimal #2 Shaft & removal of 3km of disused powerlines to the site. Project activities incorporating;
- Access road upgrading to allow importation & exporting of material
- Establishment of site compound and amenities
- Demolition & removal of existing steel & concrete structures in a controlled manner.
- Capping & filling of the 300m deep Corrimal #2 vent shaft in line with specific methodology for spark prevention & gas containment.
- Construction of concrete capping to shaft upon completion.
- Remediation & landscaping of surrounding area to blend with the local contours.
- Accessing and removal by helicopter of 3km of in accessable steel power poles from SCA catchment land & disposal.
- Disestablishment & removal from site.
