Peppertree Quarry Process Plant Foundation

Select Civil won the Contract to construct the Process Plant Foundations for Boral’s Peppertree Quarry at Marulan.

Boral’s proposed Peppertree Quarry will quarry granodiorite which is similar to granite making it ideal for road base and concrete aggregates. The quarry will supply the Sydney metropolitan area via a rail link from the quarry to a rail to road transfer facility to be constructed at Maldon near Picton.  The Peppertree quarry incorporates fully automated crushing, screening and materials storage plant that is being designed and installed by Sandvik.

Select Civil is contracted directly to Boral to construct the Process Plant foundations for the mechanical equipment. The value of the Contract at this stage is approx $8M Exc GST.
